Full-time Program Manager of the Houston Parks and Recreation Soccer Operation programs that are sponsored by the U.S. Soccer Foundation and the City of Houston. He was recently presented with the White House’s Champions of Change Award by the former First Lady, Michelle Obama. Has a total of 21 years of coaching experience with youth athletic teams in all soccer divisions. Mr. Avila is a USFF National trainer and a South Texas Youth Soccer Association (STYSA) Instructor. He also holds a United States Soccer Federation “A” National Coaching License, United States National Youth License and NSCAA Premier Diploma.
